Demolished trainstation

A sad image from Pitesti. This trainstation was demolished recently. It was finished in 1872 and in 2013 it has been put to the ground. I'm glad that I found some older pictures with it (i am not the author of those two :))) ).

Photo Hunt #7

Today was the 7th edition of an event called Photo Hunt, (organised by a great group of people BandaFoto- http://www.facebook.com/banda.foto) I think that it sounds better in Romanian :)) , but I started the blog in English so ...anyway. The theme was "RETRO" and the location was Park Cismigiu, somewhere in the centre of Bucharest. We were groupped in teams of 3, and we had 7 motives to take pictures of and all the pictures had to be sepia. Even though today was the hottest day yet, the park offered enough shadow to survive the 3 hour event. So...these are the pictures that i liked most. Have a cool day!

Curtea Domneasca - Targoviste

This week we had a school trip in a couple of historical cities not too far from Bucharest. We visited Targoviste, Sibiu and Curtea de Arges. It was rainy almost all the time so most of the time I left the camera in my luggage. These two pictures are from the first day of the trip.
